Yesterday, I was hanging out in town here in Invercargill, New Zealand. My sister Rachel resides here and she always talks about how small this town is. Yes, it is smaller compared to other main cities in NZ like Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. But non the less, each town has its own characteristics and vibe. I find that it's not that bad after all. I've always kept in mind that, as long as you can find Asian food and Asian supermarket, it means that it's "ok".
So, what I wanted to share something interesting. My sister mentioned that she felt like having Starbucks's "Popcorn Caramel" latte she saw on the poster not too long ago in Queenstown. We went to town to see if we could get it for her. Unfortunately, there wasn't any because the promo had just ended. Dang it!
What was interesting was I found out that it looked like any other Starbucks I've been to back home or any ohter countries. I think that's the standard at Starbucks? Oh well, but this outlet in particular was rather interesting because it had a sign that says "The World's Most Southern Starbucks" and it also has the coordinates.
Pretty cool huh? Just in case you're wondering, no. It doesn't taste different at all. It pretty much tastes the same with the ones we can get back home. Only this is the price is slightly more here due to the currency exchange. God, please help our ringgit!
