Give Us Your Finger Contest

GE14, epic, monumental, historic!

Despite the long queue, folks were in high spirits. Stranger's handing out water, holding umbrellas, and just downright good old muhibah. A mom who had recently delivered came out in her confinement socks and rocked her vote, while a pregnant mom stood the queue to do her part for the future of her child and all anak Malaysia.

So of all days, I forgot my phone, and stood in line for nearly 2.5 hours. During which time I found a potted flower overgrown with weeds. It was a mess to untangle the weeds from the flower, but it was worth it, as the sight of that one lone flower symbolised hope. When the weeds are gone, the plant can flourish and bloom. Here's my prayer for today on GE14

May our nation flourish and our people bloom with grace and beauty

Now, calling all anak Malaysia! Let's share our hope for Malaysia in a prayer.

Those finger pics were just so awesome, and in good Steemit spirit, had to start a contest.

          Thank you dear. :) Yeah, grew up appreciating flowers as my mom has such a love for them.

          Has your in come off? I'm still trying to wash mine off. I don't know what was in it, but my skin feels funny on that finger. Lol.

            Haha I leave mine as it is, though my skin is seen wrinkled together. I guess it isn't that easy to come off. My husband tried to scratch it off but I think he made it worse haha.
