Great tips but would like to add also that you may like to consider on the intangible asset of your business such as goodwill and reputation (not just first impression). For example, giving discount just for few ringgit when your customer pay at the counter. Although just few ringgit, your customers may appreciate the kind gesture hence higher probability for them to come back to your shop.
