Last night my parent went to his friend son wedding dinner. Surprisingly, the next morning I saw this two cute 'Chinese Sedan Chair' on the dining table. It must be a door gift from yesterday. So I decided to give it a review and share it here.
Sedan chair was used in the Chinese traditional wedding to carry the bride to the groom's house for the ceremony during the wedding day. It is popular through the ancient china history, especially in Song Dynasty.

The Chinese word '囍' surrounded the Chinese sedan chair is known as double happiness. Such wording usually found in the decoration related to wedding, especially gift items and wedding invitation card.
I was curious what is inside so I open it up and found two biscuits.
The first biscuit contains of green bean paste while the other is made of brown sugar. I have not eaten anything yet and this is just for my morning breakfast. The taste is not too sweet or bland and just good enough to fulfill my stomach before lunch.
seems like that's good.
It's unique and my first time see such wedding door gift.

Wow! That's very creative and interesting. First time I am seeing such door gifts too. Any idea which company does it? A biscuit manufacturer?
I checked the two boxes, but no information regards to that.
First time a cute interesting door gift for wedding. Usually chocolate, chopsticks, marble cake etc. This is really creative. The biscuit looks like "wife's biscuit", 老婆ping. 😊
Thank you for sharing with us.
Those two Chinese biscuits are known as "Heong Peng" 香饼 mostly popular in Northern region, Malaysia. It's my first time seeing someone using it as a wedding dinner door gift.
