I attended my first ever watercolour painting class for beginners this morning. I learned about the tools of trade, primer colors and how to mix it to make tertiary colors, and how to paint a flower petal and leaf with 2 kind of strokes.
I thought drawing flowers were hard. But painting one is another level of difficulty all together. By the end of the session, all I wanted to do was throw myself on the bed and doze off.
This is what I made during class. To my critical eyes, it looks horrible.
But it’s okay. I’m going to practice more (NOT GONNA GIVE UP CHAYOOKKK)
Then after dinner while waiting for the kids to settle down, I took the paint brush and drew this:
I like this one better.
Short post tonight. I’m still very tired from today’s activities. Will keep updating on my painting progress to see my development from time to time.
