The Beauty Of Nature

in #teammalaysia7 years ago (edited)

Who does not like to appreciate beauty? A saint or a sinner, a poet or a philosopher. A king or a commoner are all thrilled when they come face to face really e with something that is really beautiful,be it rising sun behind the silvery clouds or the setting behind the tall mountains amidst a riot of changing colours, or the blue firmament lit with myriads of twinkling stars, or the bright little moon racing behind the fleecy clouds.

Hunger and thirst, fear of foe, love and care of the young are common to man and beast a like, but what distinguishes him from his animal counterparts is his aesthetic sense. No vanimal can say that a thing of beauty is a joy forever.

This sense of beauty does not appear in the same agree in everyone does possess it. We need not leave our cities and towns and take long excursions into the countryside, room in the dark, deep and lovey woods, walk along the sendy shores of deep blue seas or stand on the snowcapped mountains. It is enough if we come into the open.

The smoking chimney can affect the sensitive heart. A well maintained park, a neatly build house, a row of shops, thick crowds of people busily going in their daily chores can arrest and arouse passionate feeling in us. The sun rising or setting behind houses or tall groves of coconuts, the moon shining like solitary jewel in the sky, myriads of stars flickering like little lamps, as if to guide some unknown wayfarer; the homecoming of birds before sundown, countless butterfies, merrliy swarming around the garden a cuckoo hiding in the thick foliage of a mango grove, suddenly bursting into an acstatic song-some of these things will thrill use even if we sit at the window watch.

But even in the midst of our busy city life, it is not altogether impossible to take a day off and go on a picnic to a beautiful spot in the deep of thick wood, away from the humdrum of city life, or by the side of mountain creek that sings an eternal song in the coll shade of a tree, spread your lunch on your lap and eat slowly as if you have no more care in the world. It will not only be change from the routine life , but a heaven of joy indeed.

The joy that nature provides us is real and lasting. It is not merely for a change that we should turn on it; not merely for the sights and sounds and sounds that is offers; not merely for the peace and tranquillity it ensures; but for something more than all these to be in it, to be one with it; to see the diving glory in all its beauty and perfection splendour and ecstasy.
