Plankton and Minnows | Do we want to be a popular steemian?

in #teammalaysia7 years ago

Greetings my esteemed steemians,

I am sure everybody at least at some point in their life on the steemit platform had asked this question. I believe most came up with resounding yes as an answer. Who doesn't?

How do we know that someone is already popular on steemit?

Well, the best place to look at popular steemit blogger is by looking at the trending post. In fact, this is where I met most of the popular steemit bloggers that I currently follow.

I give you as an example,

In #teammalaysia they are several popular steemians. There are @bitrocker2020 @maverickfoo @alvinauh

Just to name a few.

Other places, steemians such as

@kevinwong @donkeypong @purepinay @ejemai @sweetsssj

These are the names that I found who are popular.

What do these popular steemit bloggers have in common?

I realised that most of their postings are about issues that try to solve their reader's problems.

to name a few.@bitrocker2020 keep posting about solving problems faced by newbies like me. Example of his post

Some of his post is here and here.@maverickfoo posting about giving training and motivation to fellow steemit.

this out.@alvinauh sharing tips and experiences that may be helpful to fellow educators. Check

Few examples of his post here and here@kevinwong who likes to talk about new technology and cryptocurrencies. It is very interesting to read his writing. Even if you have 'zero' knowledge about it, his writing will make sure you know what are the new technology, new coins out there and understand them.

here.@ejemai shows how he and his group build steemit network in Africa consistently. Some of his work, please click

Here is one of her many posts.@purepinay shared her experiences on how to do well on steemit and help the steemit community grow in the Philippines.

What to do next?

These steemit bloggers offered something very useful and valuable for their readers. The content that they wrote undoubtedly trying to help all steemians on how to be successful on steemit.com.

I think it is wise to check out their blogs and learn something useful from them. Along the way, you can be friend with them. Try to make comments on their writing. If you get a good reply don't forget to say thank you. Even though it takes several days for them to reply to your comments. Since most of them literally have thousands of followers.

The above are the steemians that I have encountered. They are a lot of famous steemians out there that can be a role model.

Steemit blogger such as @bitrocker2020, @purepinay, @maverickfoo, @ejemain and the rest have been consistently replying to my comments on their blogs to which I am very grateful. Some may not reply to your comment but give you an upvote. That we should be grateful as well.

Conclusion

I have not been long enough on steemit.com to qualify myself of saying what I am going to say next, but I think it is common sense that once you become friend with these famous bloggers, they will never leave you.

Apart from being your friend, they are also your source of knowledge. So being on steemit.com not only about writing but also reading. I think we need to spend an equal amount of writing and reading in order to be good at it and eventually become famous as they are.

This may also prompt them to share their experiences and how they learn from their mistakes and failures. I think it is wise to learn from other people failures and mistakes in order to do well. It could save you a lot of your valuable time.

When it times for you to write, you would already know that anything that helps your readers and adds values in their life would be the right way.
Don't get discouraged if the traffic is not a what you have expected. Especially if you are expecting monetary rewards. We should put that as our secondary target if possible.

At the end of the day, as we continue our journey together on steemit.com, the most important thing that could happen to us is how helpful, friendly and valuable we've become.

I think that is what exactly our objective should be beside acquiring humongous Steem Power in the future.

I really hope that this writing will help you with your next articles. Please do leave a comment or two. Questions are most welcome.

Thank you very much
