Based on the below, quote, the above is a click-bait headline, and is not really all that accurate. based on the numbers if they held then ever single American would have either syphilis, gonorrhea and or chlamydia, in 16.5 years. I know a lot of all these new cases are repeat cases.

There are 313 million people living in the United States. 46 million of them are on food stamps.

The above is just sad along with all the other items in the list. The water quality and a lot of other problems are sad. It is however the society and the norm that the people have chosen. Society is made up of the people, if it is viewed as normal then only the people are to blame. We are our own worst enemy.

Society is slowly changing, it is evolving, as we are no longer separate family groups wandering the hills, or clans, or tribes or villages, we are moving away from being a society to something new. As a group people are beginning to fight to change society, will we like what is born out of it? No one really knows for sure, but like all things on earth everything evolves, even ideas and thoughts of what is normal and acceptable.

America may be in the dumps, and the rest of the world should see America as the canary in the coal mine.
