One morning on our short holiday at Stewart Island, we managed to spend a morning doing a short day walk at Stewart Island. This track took us to Bathers Bay which is a white sand beach. Even though it was raining, we decided to put on our rain jackets and get out.
Here's some pictures of the view on the walk.
We had the beach to ourselves and felt like we owned it. It was absolutely amazing, relaxing and gave us some beautiful memories.
Very cold?
Actually it wasn't very cold at all. I was out there without a warm jacket (as I had left it at home accidentally) so I had only a $4 plastic poncho on from the local 4 Square as protection from the rain. Haha, it worked really well. It helped that there was no wind though.

How are things in the deep south?
I just realised you have disappeared for two months.
It's still surprisingly cold and wet here in Wellington...
What gorgeous views and scenery, I never have made it to Stewarts Island never knew it was so beautiful
