On a walk getting shots for this coming weeks Wednesday Walk post I came across this art on the sides of the River School PS 281 on !st ave by 35th Street, where they had this cool Art work.

The pieces are a set called Towards Wisdom by Jesse Branford

The art is glazed terracotta art and I personally think they are quite fitting for on the walls of a school.

Thats the real cool think about NYC if you walk around for just a short while pretty much anywhere in the city you will come across art of one form or another

From a Chinese looking scholar, a Magi from the East and the last looks like a Greek Philosopher.

Ahhh NICE! I very recently posted some posts on street art in NYC (Brooklyn). It's such an inspiring city to me, that I want to visit it at least every other year. I'm getting full of energy just from walking through that city :-)
I love these pieces too, some of the old ages in the modern world! :D
