Two sailors were in the water
because their ship went down.
There was nothing but water
for miles and miles around.

As they floated on their raft
with only the waves to hear
One sailor said that he wished
this ocean was made of beer.

Lightning flashed in the sky,
though it was so clear and blue
To the amazement of the sailors
the wish actually did come true.

The other sailor said to the first,
“Why didn’t you just let things be”.
Now that the ocean is made of beer,
where are we are going to pee.

Really? I was sitting around one day and I was listening to 2 conversations at once. One was talking about the ocean and the other about beer. It just sort of happen.
yes , i enjoyed it because for just a small moment it took me away , it was a peacefully easy read and then a funny twist at end
That's just exactly what I was going for when I wrote it, easy to read and a humorous twist. I guess I accomplished my goal.
