Team Possible Power: Important Guild Updates!!

A VERY important update for members of the Team Possible Power Splinterlands guild.

Congrats fellow guildies,

We finally managed to get our guild hall to level 8.
This is a huge achievement, and I'm very proud we've made it this far.

It will now take us a couple of seasons to really see the difference, but once we get enough Daily Quests in to upgrade the Quest Lodge to level 8 too, we'll all start enjoying a 12% DEC bonus, and a 6% shop discount.

But it'll take some time.

Meanwhile, there's a very important announcement we need to make.

As mentioned before, we won't upgrade the Guild Hall to the next level. If you haven't read the previous post, I highly recommend you do so, since it explains the reasons for our decision in detail. You can read the post here.

Now What?

I've set up a special savings account, which will be used to collect the contributed DEC every week. Once new guild buildings are released, the DEC that is in that savings account will be used towards upgrading these new buildings. (More about that in the previous post).

This means you have to keep this in mind:

De NOT contribute to the Guild Hall anymore.

Instead, send your weekly DEC contribution to the

@tppower account.

All DEC that is sent to the Guild Hall from now is basically lost, since we won't be upgrading the Guild Hall anymore.

How To Send DEC To The #tppower Account

If you're not familiar with sending DEC to another account in-game, here's a little walkthrough:

send DEC.PNG

1 - Click your DEC balance
2 - Add the amount of DEC you want to contribute to the field
3 - Select 'Player' in the drop down menu
4 - enter 'tppower' in the name field that appears
5 - Click the 'Transfer Out' button

That's all there is to it.

I will keep track of made contributions on my spreadsheet, which you can always check here. (If you scroll down again, you'll find a green row that represents the current week).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Important

We're getting close to the release of guild wars, and once they're here, communication will be more important than ever.

But even now, we expect you to either:

  • Read the messages posted in the Guild tavern on a regular basis
    and/or
  • join our Discord server and follow up there.

No need to say that we'd prefer that you join on Discord, since it allows us to contact you in case this is necessary.

Staying up-to-date about what happens in the guild is mandatory from now on.

This update is a good example of that. We nééd you to know about announcements like this one. If you ignore this, and will keep contributing DEC to the Guild Hall, both you and the guild will lose a lot of DEC that could be used to upgrade the upcoming buildings.

A mistake is easily made, I get that, but I've decided that if a member keeps contributing to the Guild Hall instead of sending the DEC to the @tppower account, it means that member has not read this post, nor the multiple announcements that have been made in the Guild Tavern or the Discord channel. This is a sign that there is no communication at all, something that can't be tolerated with guild wars coming.

I'll keep repeating the message for a while, and if I can contact the member personally on Discord to set things straight, I definitely will. Unfortunately, a bunch of you are no on Discord and I have no way of contacting you in person. (Another reason to join our Discord channel.)

So, time for a new rule:

If someone keeps contributing to the Guild Hall instead of the @tppower account for 3
weeks in a row, it'll be a reason to get kicked from the guild.

Like I said, I will do everything I can to make sure everyone knows about this update, but if I can't reach someone, either through the tavern or on Discord, it's out of my hands. It's everyone's own responsibility to stay up to date about what's going on in the guild.

The Future

I truly hope the new guild buildings will be released soon, and we can go back to contributing on the site itself asap.

From the information I have gathered, it seems like the new buildings will be released together with Guild wars (or Guild Brawls, as they will be called).

In these Guild Brawls, we as a guild will have the chance to fight other guilds in a sort of anytime tournament.

I'm excited for this new feature. I think we have a great team, and if we can get our communication to work, we'll definitely have a shot at beating other guilds. I have no doubts about that. 💪
