I have realized that we judge other so often and we throw stones at others for no reason, I mean just because the girl has a different hair style we would make a statement that she is a weirdo and then gossip about her of social network.
What could be the reason behind our behavior, is it because our parents did not look after us, or did our parents, give us too much hidings or was it because I had the wrong friends or because my father was an alcoholic and my mother a drug addict.
Yes, it has been researched that your past has an influence on the type of person you are or how you treat other people, but I still believe that all of us has a sense of wanting to do the right thing in different situation, I mean we were not born to kill or be abusive or destructive, we were born to do good in life, to give life and to protect life.
And that is exactly were the saying comes that people in glass houses must not throw stones at other people, this is for the reason that no one is perfect and before you do something against or two someone else make sure that you are not doing or are not being the same thing you are gossiping or throwing stones about.
All of us can at least try to let the sun shine over the person next to us, give everybody a chance in live, try to make the difference in someone else life even if it is just for 2 seconds of your destructive day, I promise you that the person you are doing something good to, will remember it, and when you expect it the least that person will do something nice for you again one day.
Why do we always want to do something only if we get something physical for it, like money or keep track of the favors that a person need to still give you to. Why can we not get personal satisfaction on a psychological level.
What can we do to make sure that we are not the one standing behind the door when you are accusing someone else to be standing there:
1. Respect other people because they breath the same air you are breathing
2. Respect other people’s business
3. Respect other people’s privacy
4. Respect yourself by not placing yourself or making a statement which you will regret later
With that said, I hope the Glass house and wooden door folks will take some time to judge themselves first before judging others.
Very true joe007 we should not judge others before we judge ourselves.
exactly, thank you
When you point a finger, the others all point back at you. Food for thought, I find myself always thinking back to my teenage years and think, what was it like?
I reflect back since I hear so many of my age group complaining about the youth of today, were we any better? I don't think so, just think back.
I cannot agree with you more, why are we so cruel to each other
