RE: [Steemit Success] I Can't Become What I Despise

in #teamsouthafrica7 years ago

Oh, just realised I missed your question about how I know that. The saying comes from the bible, I am not super religious, though my Father was and was a local minister. So I was bombarded with "The word" lol

Just FYI - That verse is found here:
1 Timothy 6:10 to be: For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Sort:

Thanks what does it mean?

It means, money is not a problem and one should not feel bad or guilty about having money, but the love of money is not good, according to that verse, many people make the mistake and get the saying wrong by not including the "Love" of money. that's all :-)

But, please don't even stress about it, do your thing, do the right thing, help others, and all is good :-)

How do you know if it is true or not?

Well it is a matter of perspective and what you believe, I live simply by always doing the best I can, by helping others as much as I can, whatever I earn I make sure I pay me bills and spend some on enhancing myself in whatever areas I need, and if there is any finances left over, I help someone else :-)

but i guess we all have to find our own path and that comes with a better understanding of yourself first, Just my thoughts on that.

Best of luck with your journey. great to meet a fellow saffer. will keep checking your posts.
stay blessed.

You're Awesome.

haha, not so sure of the accolades, but thank you :-)

You have the right to be rich!
