Wow! That is some good research and enlightening content. Bitfinex is going to be in a world of hurt as 81 million or so dollars with of Bitcoin have changed hands without people wanting that to happen.

I absolutely did! I was hoping my idea would be discussed, but I arrived a bit late to the party. Decentralized Marketplace For Steemit I am hoping this will really open the doors to creative content especially that without the need for shipping. I'd love to be able to pay musicians directly and not apple, and authors and not amazon. Don't get me wrong I love apple and amazon, but for new musicians and authors, the amount that is taken away from their pay can mean the difference from being able to focus on their passion full time or be forced to work part time on it. I'd love to help make some creative geniuses wealthy on a platform that will truly get behind them, not only financially, but also with the comment section. I see so much untapped potential right now and it makes me excited. The minds behind steemit are absolutely brilliant and that is not a kiss ass to-be-taken-lightly comment. I've not seen developers who have addressed hacks and trolls and spam in such an efficient manner. They are steps ahead of the game and the whitepaper itself shows the thought that went into it. When was the last time anyone heard directly from Zuckerberg? Probably 0/40000 people here have corresponded with him, but @ned and @dan are quite active around steemit as their value is the users and not ads or corporations. It's true steemit is young, but i've become friends with people in a way that I haven't on other sites. A true interest in propelling one another forward through the ocean that is steemit! Obviously I am excited and hope others are as passionate as I am. I often find myself waking up and jotting a quick idea to help someone or make a post about. It's truly changed the outlook of my life completely.
Also it would be great if there were some sort of notification system as to when the next "meeting of the minds" will be. You have offered a great service and I thank you for it.

I forgot to ask in my earlier reply, what software/ online service did you use to stream the three of you together?
I'm using google hangout. I had a lot of trouble setting it up but is should be plug in play. Try on chrome is it doesn't work on some other browser. It might help!
