Entering the second week of the second national lockdown and missing shooting so much. So rather than sit at home just tearing what little hair I have out. So I have been trawling through my archived hard drives. These three images are all from a wildlife park in Tunisia.
I had never seen a white lion or white tiger before so was quite happy to shoot these magnificent beasts. The park was an eye opener. Spacious and well set out, the animals all looked relatively content. But what really appealed was the fact that you walked on a raised walkway above the cages of the big cats and the rest of the bigger animals.
I loved the place so much I paid a return visit a couple of years later when I was back in Tunisia. In the intervening years the place seemed to have gone downhill. I still can't put my finger on what the differences were, but it somehow seemed tired.
A few years back we were planning to go back to Tunisia and I probably would have gone back. But then the attack on the hotel (where we had actually stayed months earlier) occurred it sadly put paid to that.
