I don't agree that if we are all honest we prefer to work alone. That is a very western thought, but does not apply universally. I was just in Bali and it is well understood that everyone prefers to work together there. Instead of one maid cleaning a hotel room, they'll send three together because they are happier when working together. It's a cultural thing that needs to be accounted for when in Bali. This is just one example that comes to mind, but surely preferring to work alone is more a symptom of the disconnected western mindset than our natural inclination as humans.
