the early hours of this day, a call came to my phone, it was the call of my elder brother, he immediately told me to take the phone to my dad, I asked him what was going on but he said I should do as he has instructed.

I took that phone to my dad but I had to put the phone on loud speaker, I heard him clearly when I gave my dad the phone, he said Dickson is dead.

All my life, I have never cried when someone dies, I never knew the pain people who lost someone felt but that same day, I felt it.
That day was the worst day of my life.

Inyang Dickson was a special kid, he was part of the inyang 4,he Was the most loved, he was the strength of the house, he was the only person that gave us joy.
For the fact that he was the last child, all the love was channeled to him.
Oh! Death on a beautiful day like this, you took away my beloved younger brother, you rendered us useless that day and you filled our eyes with uncontrollably tears, you made us wish we were never going to be strong again.

Dico as you were fondly called, ever since you left, it has never been that easy but we are strong. Dico I have a lot to tell you but I don't even know how to say them.
Today is the only day out of the days I have a conversation with you, I am always here to tell you how far we have gone and how much the INYANG 4 miss you.

Oh! I miss our childhood days, growing up with you was massive fun. I miss fighting with you and making you cry, I miss watching you report me to dad for beating you up, I miss sleeping on the same bed with you, I miss waking up in the night to escort you to go and ease yourself.

Dico do you know I miss listening to your jokes?
Dico do you know I miss sharing the same food with you?
You were always there with the twin's, you were more closer to us more than you did to our elder brother, this was because you said we inspired you, you said you wanted to be great in life, I am glad you didn't disappoint us.

You were the only person that could make my dad believe this black colour is blue.
You were the only person that could make my mum cook whatever you wanted to eat at that moment.

I miss celebrating Christmas with you, it's been 5 beautiful Christmas without you and I know how hard it has been to celebrate this without you.
When you were growing up, it has always been your dreams and aspirations to be a lawyer according to you, you said so you can secure everything we will ever achieve.
Dico what happened to all the plans we had together? What happened to all the beautiful places we planned touring when we finally get to the top?
Do you know you left us when we needed you most?

I am only sad, I didn't come back to meet you even when I called you on the phone to inform you that I was coming back the next day.

They took you away from us, the same people you would have helped were the same people that killed you.

As I write this, I want to assure you that I am not crying, do you want to know why? You were one of the most intelligent students fgc ever had, you were not the proud type, you were so humble, you were always there to listen to people and also help if you can help.

I want to also tell you that peace house members miss you more.
I want to tell you University of calabar and faculty of law miss you.

2018 FIFA WORLD CUP is ongoing, I want to tell you all the African teams that participated are all home, the super eagles came too, played very well but God of soccer was not on their side, odiong ighalo had the opportunity to have secured us to the next round but he messed the game up, I forgive him, things like that happens and I pray Nigerian's forgive him too.

The big teams in the tournament, most of them are home too, the likes of Argentina, Spain, Germany etc.
Your club Chelsea didn't do well last season but I hope they buckle up their game come the next season.
