CRY

in #teardrops7 years ago

Africa wails, the queen walks bare with her feet.
Sobs bitter tears, as the cries and wailings fill her ears.
Her crown is left to the fraudulent,
Her staff to men who have orgasms from the cry of people.

The giant of Africa, the pride of The west,
A country, A people, My people.
My nigeria.

Deep sigh, i wonder whats going on with her,
The headlines i see everyday are the same, just a little change in numbers.
And i wonder, who are the perpetrators of this evil.

Loots of ancients have not been recovered and still yet looted is our economy.
The soul of the nation is its people,
For how long will the souls keep getting crushed.

I sit to wonder, what would become of this paradise in a few years,
If no significant change occurs.

A sect, a group, pose dangerous to the giant of Africa,
Look at Jos, Benue, Kaduna, Adamawa and other places,
Our deltas, drip with blood,
Our rivees flooded with tears.

Still, i wish that sacrifice of people would suffice and please the perpetrators,
But it seems there is an infinite insatiable lust for more.
I wonder how men not able to buy goods of $50, now wield machineries of close to $500 and more.

I see breadwinners slain for choosing to be Nigerians,
I see mothers, raped and defiled, for choosing to be nigerian women,
Sisters whose innocency are betrayed and forcefully taken advantage of while their pain were beautiful rythm to the ears of the evildooers,
Brothers, desecrated and murdered!

And not one of those evil doers have been brought to justice.
We go on peace keeps,
We fight wars of other nations,
We have the one of the best and effective military,
But do they really evade us, or we choose to do nothing? Or have orders to do nothing?

Wait, babies, the future of this Nation, slain for choosing to be a Nigerian.
The headlines don't change, only the humbers do.

Then i see Nigerians, in flight,
Leaving their country only to be treated like slaves in other countries,
Even African countries Maltreat this offspring of the giant.
How cruel can this be?

Not all are heard of,
Because you heard of those of Saudi Arabia, Libya, South Africa,
That doesn't mean thats all.

We are a people, strong and passionate.
We are a people, with lives to live,
We are a nation with love to share

Whats our curse, whats out wrong?
We have always posed as emissary of peace,
We are great economy builders.

But at the dawn of the wake of her breaking soul,
She is up in smokes and cries fill our ears.
She alone, fighting defenselessly against this terror.

She is a toothless and clawless lioness,
In the midst of hungry hyenas,
I wonder if her roar alone would bring salvation.

Her beauty fades,
Her diamond stained with blood,
She is left uncared for.
I think i should blame the government, i think i should blame our ministries,

But No, i blame you.
I blame us.
We keep praying and praying and never do the right thing.

Nigeria, my own County, my own pride,
Its not yet time to dig more sepulchres
Because you will come out of this.

I Believe in Nigeria,
I believe in the pride of Africa,
I believe in your Strength.

Lets raise her from the ashes, back to her throne.

This is very nice

Thank you

I am very sorry about what is happening in your country, I am from Venezuela and we have not reached much, but from another person we are talking about others when we do not have the fundamental rights such as life, health and nutrition. However, our hope is not placed in men but in God and time in due time, the retribution to the strangeness of people. To answer your questions, what I must do is pray and stand firm. Trusting in God always remembering that the tests we went through promised to be with us until the end.

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Amen. Thank you so much for the envouragement, wenpray and work to make our nations better

Very good write-up..

Thank you

My country (Aceh) was also a war with Indonesian

It aches my heart. I wonder when all wars will cease, can we ever have peace?

This is the pain in our hearts brother, when will it ever end?
Only God can tell
