Miss Ezinne a food vendor who lived in a 'face me I face you' apartment was pretty young, tall but overweight. Anyways she met a handsome smallish man, they had sex and Ezinne is pregnant. She doesn't know anything about antenatal though, so she goes about her daily routine which is selling of food. Unknown to her, she is hypertensive.
She's hypertensive and you know, hypertension is a silent disease, she's not aware that her blood pressure is off the charts. At close to 9 months on her way to sell some food, she convulses for a while. 'Eh! Jesus! passers by screamed, rushed her to one chemist close by.
At the chemist they gave her paracetamol and baptised her with unreal amounts of onions. Anyways it worked. Ezinne had stopped convulsing, so all is well. She wasn't aware though that the baby had died in the womb. Now it's about 43weeks and no form of pushing for her to be in labor room.
Okay so Ezinne is now having a bloody discharge, and really foul smelling, as she walks, drops of blood come out from her vagina and a multitude of flies surround each drop. It was a really disgusting sight. Neighbors had to call her her 'guy' ...'you people should go...
You people should go to the hospital, this is getting out of hand. They went to a reputable hospital and it was discovered that baby had long died and the whole stuff was disintegrating. We have to do a surgery and bill is 200k' the doctor informed them. Ezinne and her family.
Both of them don't have the money though, so a neighbor of theirs refers them to where they can get it cheap. Just 100k, we'll do it, the other hospital said. Unknown to them, the place was run by a quack. Dr Quack does the surgery and it was successful!. Yay! Ikr!
Ezinne's guy, Mr Osazua is a bike rider though, he was broke and few days after surgery, Ezinne was going days without eating. She called relatives and no one cared. One day Ezinne complained to Dr Quack that her leg was paining her. He quickly dismissed it, gave paracetamol..
Soon after she started becoming breathless, Dr Quack thought it was asthma, so he gave some medication but it didn't improve. He kept pumping her with irrelevant drugs until Ezinne was in a very terrible shape. He quickly referred to same hospital that charged 200k.
She died on the way. She was brought in dead and she died of a blood clot in the leg that travelled to the lungs and stopped her breathing. Anyways husband is rolling on the floor crying profusely, 'who'll bring my Ezinne back'?
As if that wasn't enough, the relatives appear from nowhere. 'You killed our daughter!! ' the hospital security had to prevent Mr Osazua from being lynched. Anyways he's been mandated to marry his dead wife, pay bride price, and still finance a burial ceremony separately

Moral of the story
Don't joke with your health status, especially when pregnant, Antenatal is very important because of the baby in the womb. "health is wealth"
Women should always know the importance of knowing more about there body system, maybe if she had known her body, she would give for check up where would be introduced to antenatal.
