When you use memory reduct, programs in memory are pushed to the page file, which does nothing but slowing things down. You'll see it be retrieved from the page file once again, filling up the memory to where it was the last time. My advice is to just not use mem reduct at all as it helps with nothing, Windows knows how to manage memory. Just disable unnecessary startup apps, uninstall software you don't use, run cleanups once in a while. That's really all you can do regarding high memory usage other than upgrading your memory. Programs like mem reduct are nothing but snake oil.
