Washington become the first state to pass law protecting net neutrality

Here the NET refer to the internet , NEUTRALITY part is about keeping net the way it is today.

It is the sets of rules that went into the effects in 2015 to prevents speed traps on the super highway

In other words speeding up access to some sites and slowing down the access of others

OR
blocking some sites entirely

So these rules are bad thing, it's depend on who you ask

the internet company who deliver your internet like Comcast, Verizon and At&t spends million of dollar
to get Net NETRALITY arguing that having government micromanage their business is not good for them or their consumers

On the other side internet giants like Facebook,Google and netflux
they all argue that the internet is the public good and should be regulated like one.

In these days the companies who owns the pipelines play favors

For example :

Netflex company has money and afford to pay for the fast link

small company like Webvids or any other startup can't able to afford this.
this will destroy small businesses
