While the whole wide world is waiting for Miss Scribey to become the next "Long Island Medium," she's gotta have a day job.
I'm at 2 - 3 new clients a week at the moment, just streaming a few hours a week on one of those OTHER platforms that allows me to go live and it pushes you out to new followers each time, so it is rather nice.
I'm planning to incorporate it on here soon, using @hivestreams.live, but I have to take LIVE calls with NO lag for it to work, so I'll probably host it on Hivestreams Discord for starters. I'll get it figured out. But keep an eye out. It's cool shit.
In the meantime, it's a side hustle for the time being. Sure helps with the bills, and it is super fun, but it's nowhere near enough to earn a living as a single mom of three, what with how expensive life is right now. Food prices alone! Gawd!
So...day job it is for now. Who knew Scribey would be working a tech support position, at a tech company no less! I'm no dev. Don't worry. Just glorified customer service if we're being honest. I think I'll do pretty well at it, though. And it has career potential....
But, I'll be building the medium thing in the meantime, and hopefully within the span of a year or two, I'll be able to quit the day job and go all in on the dead people.
