How to Make a Hotspot on a Complete Laptop Using CMD (Command Prompt)

  1. Open CMD, click on the window in the lower left and click All Programs again, in the program column type the CMD command Then click enter.

  2. If it is open, for example to check whether the driver on our computer or laptop supports a hotspot. The trick by typing the netsh wlan command shows the driver.

  3. If the writing Hosted Network is supported there is writing Yes, then your computer device supports to activate the hotspot. If there is no writing Yes, you cannot create a hotspot using this method.

  4. After that, type the command again in the command prompt menu like this netsh wlan set
    hostednetwork mode = allows ssid = hotspot key name = hotspot password

  5. If you have, then press ENTER to continue, it will be like this

  6. Congratulations, the hotspot name and password have been completed. Now just activate the host network. By typing the netsh wlan command starts hosted network.

  7. Now try and open Control Panel, then click Network and Internet again, then select Netwok and Sharing Center again. Then there will be previously made hotspots.

  8. If it is suitable like the picture above, then all you have to do is share your internet connection or what is called sharing.

  9. The first thing to do to divide the internet connection is by clicking on the menu connection as in the following picture.

  10. A new tab will appear, click Properties, then select the sharing tab, after that check the first line so that a selection appears that aims to divide the internet connection.

  11. After all processes are complete, just close the wifi status tab. The hotspot network that you create will be written with Type Access or internet access, even though Previously there was No Internet Access.
