RE: Facebook apologizes for the game of shootings

in #tech7 years ago

Thank you for sharing this. I think they're wrong, I don't think kids are shooting other kids because of a Facebook game.

In my opinion it's not about gun control either. It's about teach our youth! It's about coming together as a community to figure out where things when wrong in society, and how can we fix them. Children are no longer raised by their parents, they're raised by schools, teachers, and their peers.

Of course it all does start when they are very young. They need to be taught the basics! So many underage youth are having babies, and they think that they're life was so tough, so they give their child no discipline. Without discipline they think they can just go out and do anything.

It's also glorified. Seriously, so many social media posts about this, and it's on the news for days and days at a time. What that does it show other potential shooters, that if you want to be "famous" or get your "5 minutes of fame" all you have to do is shoot up a school and the good old USA will make sure everyone knows who you are.
