Amazon's Alexa will be able to act as your home intercom system , transfering voice or video to rooms in your home .If you want to talk to anyone in another room ,just say the name of the device that you want to take the message.so you will say "Alexa,call the kitchen"and then begin saying your message.
The new feature will start today and you will receive it in the form of an update to the Alexa app.intercom will be available for Amazon echo , echo show and echo dot users.
