My New M.2 Ssd Problem And Solution

Just for context purposes I ended up just buying an M2 > PCI-E card and "installed" the new one with that, kept the og windows an all.
So today I noticed one of my games ran quite slowly and I decided it was time to reboot my pc (I do that quite rarely, maybe once a week or so, yes, I know....). There apparently was a windows update or something, because the option was "Update and restart"... , I went with that.
After the reboot, windows worked normally, I saw the asus logo I normally see, but instead of it loading into windows shortly, it gave me a blue screen with a "language" selection. Without any error messages or anything of the kind. Then I had 3 options: "Use a device", "Troubleshoot", "Turn off your pc" .
Long story short, apparently the winupdate corrupted my installation or somethingand it could not boot into windows. I tried all the troubleshoot repair options, every single one, all of them ended up with errors that don't really reveal much. It's been like 4 hours now and I gave in and just installed a new windows "copy" from a USB I had made earlier onto this new nvme I got... Coz this is like a clean install, all my files are there, but the mapping and settings are all gone.... So I finally found out that I need to either repair the og installation or to "move" my personalization settings to this new installation.
