Blockchain Tech Is In Your Hands, Use It

in #tech6 years ago

There is a new shift when it comes to tech that we are starting to see: it is becoming more and more user-friendly. And this includes blockchain tech. Am I saying you should go and make your own blockchain network tomorrow? No. Though you could. What I am saying is if there is a project you like or a coin you want to support then do it. There is a new dapp you want to succeed, use it.

Take steem for example. It is here and it is working. You can post on here everyday to bring up traffic and increase links. You can work on SEO on your posts to bring in more people. You can tell a friend. You can even learn to code on the steem blockchain and make your own apps. There is no limit to what you personally can do. It is a new world where you do not have to wait for the big companies to make the pushes yourself. There is a lot to do to help this network.

Its a new world where the cost of entry is lowering and you have a lot more power than before. And if you are uneducated in something that you want to learn about then look it up. The info is there. Do not think what will be but make it happen yourself.

Woot woot! Are you developing STEEM any projects @whatageek?

Just content until SMTs come out, then I want to do a gaming community.

Oh fantastic! We’re developing some game projects for @hardfork-series, would be great to chat with you about them.

Sure would be interested, what do you have in mind?

Cool, maybe we can discord and chat about it

Sure in an hour?

Wow! This post resulting in an actual meeting! Most impressive!

The invention of the blockchain reminds me of the invention of the Internet. No one trusted the Web when it was first introduced, all considered it a fad, a toy, anything but a serious life-changing invention.

I can see how it’s the same story with blockchain.

When you google the term, you usually find a definition like this:

The blockchain is an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value. - Don & Alex Tapscott, authors Blockchain

Blockchain has brought opportunities directly to our doosteps ............... ........er........laptop. It has not only brought these opportunities but it has done so in a manner that we can get our fair share from the system. That is the best part.

Blockchain brings a lot of new opportunities to the users and is great because they are decentralized, we have to support the one we choose because our success in them depends on the success of blockchain itself.

Thank you for your post, you bring a lot of good points here.

It is a new term that means decentralized app.

yes, sorry I just realized that :(

No need to apologize it is a very new word, we still need more examples before it takes off.

Comparing Blockchain with the Internet of early days is an excellent pick.

As of today, Blockchain has some key issues to be resolved:

  • Accessibility to "normal" users
  • Easy access to any coin & token via Fiat Currencies
  • Clear legal statements and security
  • Adoption in real-world use cases
  • Get more mainstream

Once this happens, it will be even more significant, this is just the beginning, I genuinely believe this.

Would love to assist in your project if you need help!

Yea excatly, nice job

@whatageek im 16 years old and i really want to know more about programming blockchain or some things like that, do you know where i can get some information?

Check out crypto zombies.

I will. I heard about the future blockchain social networks a while back, but didn't realize they already existed until reasently. Beside the fact that we're actually getting paid, there are other things as well that to me makes it superior to traditional networks. For example the lack of unlimited upvotes seems to make the users focus more on quality, since people can't depend on giving out likes to everyone.
Great post :)

I am relatively new to this technology. Good point about this being new technology. Only recently I joined Steemit and that is one of the reasons why. I first heard about the blockchain technology in a tutorial. This convinced me that crypto currencies are a new techno wave and I bought a little bit of bit coin, Ethereum, Light coin and Bit Cash. Only a week ago I became interested in Steem Monsters. According to the tutorial Bit Coin itself is the Leader in this technology having launched the Block Chain That most Cryptos are based off of. The tutorial was really interesting it was like seeing a part of the internet itself.

How did you create the beautiful horse image?

Another fine motivational post!
