Extremely talented and creative female DJ, producer and Return To Disorder label founder. Associated for a long time with legendary Ninja Tune. During last seven years she managed to release 14 Eps and two Long Play albums. Mostly known from her killing electro/techno selection in the mixes on the biggest stages of the festivals, as well as small clubs or larger amount of studiomixes released later through agencies or recording studios. Beside the tabloid's breaking news there is hard to write something new about Helena Hauff. Instead repeating and copy/pasting, I would like to recommend you the finest lecture - publications of our dear Music Community Members @edje, @uwelang and @killereps - which already promoted her profile here before. Helena's latest track, released especially for newest compilation of legendary Tresor Berlin is on the cost of the fox. Publication from The Guardian is a super-bonus. You can check everything below

Morah & Hauff - Segment 3 [KERN005LP]

RETURN TO DISORDER

Label Established in 2015 by Helena Hauff, as idea of promoting interesting and underrated artists met on her way. Initially skeptical for "just starting up with a new-same techno label", came out with an exciting idea of launching a platform where artists can combine psychedelic rock with techno and widely understood electronic music. As Helena Hauff confirmed by herself, name for this label was inspired by an First World War art movement, Return To Order, trying to go back to a more conservative form of art rejecting the pre-war avant-garde ideas. This story blended together with dystopian futurist music from Helena Hauff clicked very well and gave a birth for the label that runs already for more than 5 years.

Children Of Leir - Elixir [RTTD001]

Surprisingly for all, first release from Return To Disorder label, dated for 15 September 2015, catalogued as Children Of Leir EP [RTTD001] came out as a pure British psychedelic rock limited to 100 hand-stamped copies. For the first proper electro/techno banging listeners had to wait 3 more weeks, until Route EP [RTTD002] from the Greek producer Morah came out. A solid dose of three dirty acidic electro tunes straight from Athens, to assure you that your next party will bast away and dancefloor will be same damaged as your voice strings from screaming wildly. Beside dusty, dark and strobo-crazy venues for intensive drug consumers, you could hear his tunes promoted by Helena Hauff, Umwelt or Lee Fraged on the biggest stages.

Morah - Solution [RTTD002]

More dirty electro and hypnotizing but disturbing vocals surrounded by the multilayered soundscapes and came with [RTTD003] in March 2016. Big up for track Tanka Linija which is completely game changer. But it is difficult to set direction when one month later listeners could come back, attended by Umwelt with [RTTD004]. If you thought that you heard everything in brain-twisting electro, just check his definition of word "everything". Listening to this track for the third time I am receiving some flashbacks from parties back in 2016-2018. Releasing one after another, such a strongly banging and such a different material is completely beyond imagination!

Umwelt - Destruction Libératrice [RTTD004]

During last 5 years Return To Disorder released 18 Eps and promoted more than 25 different artists which are sometimes absolutely overwhelming the whole "put-in-canvas scene". Taking a closer look at this label is definitely something worth evening or two, doesn't matter if you're looking for bigroom bangers from Umwelt, slowball acidrollers from Fallbeil, neo-gothic neo-vocals from Le Chocolat Noir - Tanka Linija, futuristic EBM from Amato or psychedelic rock from Blood Sport, this label has everything except ordinary techno tracks. Huge respect for Helena for constant pushing her vision of label and music. Looking at the amount of publications on our blockchain, we can be sure that this is a correct path. 1 HBD for the first person that will hunt down and expose a typical techno track released on Return To Disorder.
