Yesterday, When the news broke out that, the Microsoft is going to kill of MS paint, the company woke up to a lot of anger and frustration from Its users that probably came as a big surprise.

With the overwhelming feedback from its MS paint users and users in general, Microsoft yesterday clarified the situation by releasing a statement which said MS Paint is indeed not being killed off and is only being removed as a standard feature of Windows 10, which means that after the next update, when you install Windows 10 it won't be immediately available. However, It will still be available in Window's Store (for free), meaning when you want it you can always download and install it.

While the news is great that MS Paint will still be with us, but I think Microsoft here missed a point and that is the reason MS Paint is so popular and appreciated, which is that it is always there.we alway knew that we are working on Microsoft Windows then Paint is there to quickly create or adjust images. This will now be gone even though Paint isn't.

MS points to Paint 3D as the "new creativity App" and maybe that will be the new MS Paint, but other than just decreasing the install size of Microsoft windows 10 by a few mb's, i don't know what purpose it fullfills. MS hasn't yet explained why Paint needs to become a non-standard feature of the OS and this remains to be answered.
