there are three advancements that we should be really concerned about:
- self healing: this has already existed in software for decades and now with robots tasked with repairing machines, i can foresee huge job loss in sectors like automobile, manufacturing, power plants...
- automated support: the advancement of AI will kill this sector. machines learn at incredible speeds and are able to respond faster. the confluence of communication technologies like voice, text, call, video are going to enable AI to rip and replace
- intelligent learning: people will be surprised but education is at great risk because of the information available in the internet coupled with machine learning. basic learning in all phases are at the mercy of course automation that will be driven completely by AI enabled teaching assistants. this will murder the education sector
