So it has been a while since I wrote the previous article and alot has happened! So if you are new here is the short version: Medical diagnostics usually takes really long and requires that samples are sent away which delays the diagnosis process especially in African countries and other places like India. We decided that if you can't afford to bring the people to the labs then bring the lab to the people! So we develop remote testing system for molecular diagnostics hoping to save many lives!
and this is what we have been up to so far!
We built a working prototype of our system in a very short period, about 1 month:
We then took this prototype to Innovation Bridge 2017 and won the prize for the best prototype!

We then entered the GAP BioSciences competition with Field Lab and won first place!

So it has been a hectic time and we are moving closer and closer to making this system a reality! We are even working with UNICEF and the Red Cross and we will be keeping you guys informed as we make progress!
Here is a article from VentureBurn that also covers what we have done:

I will be posting more often from now on!
Hey really cool project. I hope you guys can make it a reality in the near future.
Hey, Thanks. We have blood sample preparation systems using the centrifuge and then DNA amplification via PCR and either we can offer QPCR or agarose gel electrophoresis. The system also includes a 1000x microscope and some other technology that we have developed but wont like to disclose yet. The system can test a large variety of things: Zika, HIV, TB, Malaria, Hep A,E, full range of STDs and more for this version of the system we will be implementing a procedural system that will allow nurses and other health workers to perform tests however this is not the final version. We have another exciting thing coming which is a portable one step system.
Oh cool. Seems like you could test for quite alot. Awsome.
And I can understand that some parts are kept a secret. I would do the same.
May I ask how you plan on saving or transfering the data? Can you for example connect it to the internet or save it on a SD-card?
Good luck! Hopefully, it will be a reality.
