Not necessarily. Each has their own purposes when it comes to the best value.
You can get MASSIVE storage for cheap with HDD's, but if you try to match it with SSDs then it will cost you thousands of dollars.
The two haven't come to an even ground yet in terms of cost vs storage capacity, so again I must say that they each have their uses.

Great breakdown of the differences. I must say I do miss my SSD drive computer. But it's been put to much better use now since I donated my PC to sanctuary then what I was using it for.
