I have been looking at the developments in AI and article writing and stumbled on a few very cost effective tools to create original articles quickly using AI. What is interesting to note is the fact that this technology is being used and many of you have read articles written by AI without even realizing it. The output from AI still needs to be proof read but for the most part the AI writer uses grammar best practices. The proof reader just needs to check the flow of the article along with other relevant items.
Some of you with a background in SEO might think about article spinners used back in the day to try and gain page rank using software to rewrite, rephrase and a whole host of other shady techniques to game the system. The AI writers I am investigating uses AI to write original articles from research they do from a topic provided to them. The output is original content that can be produced for a fraction of the cost it would take an experienced person to write on a similar topic. With the rise of automation in daily life and the prevalence of automation on steemit it makes sense to automate even more in order to keep up with the technology that can outpace manual curation and article creation.
If you want to gain an advantage and survive think about things you can automate in your life.
How to you feel about automation on Steemit?
Wow, that actually exists? To be honest, I quite like to read articles with a personal touch, instead of purely informational articles. I find it hard to keep my attention with such articles. I like to see the writer's an actual human and I enjoy it when they let their personality/opinion shine through in their writing. It's how I write most of my articles aswell. Might not make them as informative, but I prefer light and fluffy with some joking once in a while :-)
I can appreciate that, but what if you could have two top notch articles produced on subjects you enjoy within seconds? You could post those to keep up your $$$ levels and then spend the time on producing the things you enjoy. In my view its something akin to using a camera instead of painting a picture.
I don't know... I would feel weird, not having written them myself. Maybe if I would use them for some research on a topic I found interesting, I would share it, but I'd explain how I obtained the information. How it wasn't written by me and how I feel about the findings... I dunno, I'd atleast add some sort of personal touch to it I guess.
It would need to be proof read for sure and adding your own personal touch would be a way of augmenting your content with AI.
Articles with actual proper information from me huh? That would feel so unnatural :D
I'm curious whether some folks on steemit are already using some form of AI like you mentioned above. Some authors are so consistent in the "feel" of their posts, that I sometimes wonder.
Another author that I enjoy, who writes about machine learning and AI is @cristi. If you haven't looked at some of his posts, I recommend taking a gander.
In my experience if you can think of it then probably a few other people are already doing it. Thanks for the link to @cristi looks like they have a ton of science and technology related articles that I will find enjoyable.

I find the whole area of AI article writing and automation here very interesting. I can see the benefits for your average busy, hardworking Steemian but the disadvantages would be people trying to game the system.
