Let's discuss technology with @Blogging-Mech

Smoking activities provide a sensation that makes it difficult for smokers to break that habit. Although there has been a lot of research that says that smoking is not good for the health of the body, especially the lungs. In addition to harming yourself, smoking can also harm people around you. Smoke that comes out from the cigarette can be inhaled by people around you who can make their health also disrupted.

The effects that can provide this health disorder make many smokers try to stop it. Many ways they try to do, some of them managed to quit smoking but some failed who make them return to that habit. For those of you who have tried various ways to stop smoking but always fail, maybe you can try this technology.

SmokeBeat can help you quit smoking with the help of smartwatch. SmokeBeat is able to detect smoking in real time based on gestures picked up by sensors built into smartwatches. This sensor is developed to be able to distinguish hand-to-mouth gestures which are a smoking activity or other activities. A message will send to the user about that activity, it was smoking or not.

SmokeBeat can provide knowledge that will awaken you to the extravagance of people smoking. There is an algorithmic system that can calculate the possible losses experienced by smokers. SmokeBeat also collects user history data such as the number of cigarettes spent in a day, the time they spend on smoking, the costs they spend on it, and their habitual change over time.

There are features that give appreciation to users who successfully quit smoking. In the experiments conducted, SmokeBeat able to detect 80% of smoking activity. Most of them who use SmokeBeat in that experiment has managed to reduce their addiction to cigarettes.
