Normally people are afraid of Cockroaches but all their amazing natural abilities are less known to people. There popularity is very different according to different geographical location for example they are considered delicious for eating in China. They are living on planet Earth for more than 300 Million years ago.
In the field of Artificial Intelligence, many major algorithms are based on Nature which outperform traditional human algorithms. One of those algorithms is Improved Cockroach Swarm Optimization, which is used in searching ability and population diversity. In a research conducted by University of Berkeley, natural structure of cockroaches is being considered for development of future robust robots.
