RE: Robots Are Coming For Your Job!!!!

interesting argument, yet, i'm still not sure what everyone is going to do. if we ever change the values around for our society there will be more "money", resources, and time for creative, educational, and interactive service and productive activities at community and regional levels. it's funny your list of 10 jobs seems like mostly annoying people/professions, good riddance (-:

LOL yes that is true...the annoying jobs will go away...but so will the not so annoying.

I do believe that a radical shift in values is required. I embraced the universal basic income idea since I do not believe the majority of people are prepared to operate or succeed in the jobs required in the future. The job destruction will come so quickly and massively that I dont believe people will have time to re-train. Couple this with the fact our politicians arent even willing to acknowledge there is a problem and you see the dilemma that is going to be created.

The masses are once again at risk without even being aware of it. What is left in the middle class is about to be obliterated over the next decade.

i am interested in universal basic income as well. at some point we need to reframe things that instead of being born into the world where there is war and debts and you are told basically you have no inherent right to health care and education, that we need to be born again into a world of opportunity and healthy environments and sustainable systems. the most clear thing is politicians only serve moneyed interests and because of this the world is spiraling towards profound blight if things aren't rectified.

Great post...I agree with you 1000%.

The politicians are owed by the bankers. They are the ones with all the money, own the stock, and control the lobbyists. Almost all the laws are written to favor them at our expense. We operate in the scarcity model which also favors those who have the resources. To add to our suffering, they create boom/bust cycles which they exit at the top and have the money to buy at the bottom.

Capitalism has turned into a huge caste system. There isnt upward mobility anymore. In fact, any mobility is heading down. The destruction of the middle class proves this point.
