You should really give the new Firefox a try. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

I read all the hype here --> https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2017/11/14/introducing-firefox-quantum/
... and I was skeptical. I've always loved Firefox but had frankly stopped using it and as it seemed to be slower and frankly consume more resources than Chrome.

So I gave it a chance and downloaded it and if speed is your game, you'll love it. It seems snappier than Chrome (gasp) and it seems to have reasonably the same feature set. It even has the icon to show you which tab is making noise and you can click it to mute the tab!!!! Although Chrome has always showed the icon, it didn't provide a way (to my knowledge) to mute the tab.

So feel free to give your ol' friend Firefox some love today....
