Hmm that’s very interesting. I have been off of FB for so long now so I don’t think those pop ups where there when I was still active. I used to get annoyed too when I kept seeing the same things in my feed, there was quite a bit about FB that annoyed me. What kept me there longer was being able to stay in touch with my family and old friends too.
It seems nowadays hate speech can consists of anything. If it hurts a persons feelings (even if you’re just giving an honest opinion) you can be accused of hate speech . I’ve always felt it was just a way to silence people and keep their opinions and opposing thoughts to themselves. It makes people nervous to share their true feelings on certain matters.
