Hi fellow Steemians!
How fitting that on the same day that the President of the US and the Leader of North Korea met for the first time, North Korea's smartphone manufacturer Phurun Hanul (meaning blue sky) released it's new phone, the H1.
The specs are:
MediaTek MT6753 Octacore processor running at 1.3GHz
5.5-inch LCD
16MP rear camera
8MP front camera
3GB RAM
32GB Storage (with MicroSD card support)
6,000mAh battery
Others: fingerprint scanner, can charge external devices
It runs a modified Android OS suited for the North Korean market.
Of course, North Korea doesn't quite have the capability to develop its own phones so China's Shenzhen Yuhji Intelligent Technology owned Oukitel lent its phone K6000 Pro, which was modified to become the H1.
Of course no one that reads this post is likely to ever put their hands on this phone but it's still interesting that North Korea makes phones for its people.
