Hi fellow Steemians.
Remember the eyes-on post I made yesterday on the Lenovo Z5? If you don't, please feel free to check it out here.
The phone was expected to bring so much innovation and the company made many promises. When it was released, we discovered they were full of lies. They lied about the design, they lied about the hardware (originally said it would have 4TB of storage, which it doesn't) and just everything about it was fake and a copy of existing designs.
Guess what. The lies weren't over.
Here is the image of the phone (left) compared to the actual phone (right).
The company boasted having slimmer bezels than almost all the smartphones available today but looking at the actual phone, that claim is not even close to the truth.
If you say 'well, that's not too bad. Why so much hate on Lenovo?', then take a look at this image.
This is what Lenovo originally teased and prmised.
I've said before, I have a Lenovo laptop and I really like it. But their PC division and mobile division must be very distant from each other in terms of producing innovative products.
If you're looking for quality smartphone for a reasonable price, it's just so much better to go with Huawei/Honor, Xiaomi or Oneplus/Oppo/Vivo.
Lenovo lied to the media, lied to the customers and now they're just lying to themselves. You've already screwed up yourself Lenovo, but please don't screw up Motorola.
