It's a bullshit!
- First you have to stay in the line of sight of a LED Tx/Rx; today everybody want stay connected while are moving and it is unimaginable to build a wide LiFi network.
- You need an infrastructure to manage the LiFi spot; each node need an IP and should be connected with a access point; if you want to maintain the speed you need to use fiber optics ... Who will cable its house with fiber optics? If you will use normal CAT 6 cable you cannot reach the theoretical speed.
- The Internet Access Point will be the bottle neck.
May be it's a good idea instead of CAT 6 in the office for a LAN, but it's (for me) very difficult to think that will be the new technology.
