Since the launch of Google Chrome in 2008, it has instantly become the preferred default browser for many, although Firefox was launched since 2002, but at that time many were using it only because it is an alternative to Internet Explorer (not so bad). But Chrome maximizes Firefox meritoriously and makes it like an outcast student in a classroom!
In fact this student often turns out to be the most successful of all around him and that's exactly what happened with Firefox. After launching the Quantum version in 2017 just one month, Firefox announced that it had recorded 170 million new browser installations, increasing by %44.
Why not go to Firefox?
The most important reason is the endless battle of privacy, of course, but we are tired of worrying about it, especially after a series of scandals in recent times! Google controls many aspects of your daily life such as email, maps, most documents and more, and you give them a lot of data about you voluntarily. Why do you continue using the enthusiastic browser to collect as much information as you can for advertising?
Unlike Chrome, Firefox is owned by Mozilla, a non-profit organization that advocates for "secure internet," which aims to build an open-source Internet that is available to all while maintaining user privacy. Chrome's privacy policy states that it stores your data locally if you log in to your Google Account, then your browser sends your data to Google. Chrome also allows access to third-party sites, access to your IP address, and any information that can be obtained by cookies.
If privacy really concerns then you have to move from a browser that uses your data to its advantage, to a browser run by a non-profit organization that does not care about your data to make a profit at all!
Many companies claim that you "fully control what your data displays." We've seen how true that is with Facebook, but to get the hat on Firefox that keeps you from having ad networks across sites, and that has another fantastic positive aspect to making websites take up faster.
As a clog, ad networks move behind you from one site to another to see what you are doing, and therefore seek to offer you targeted ads based on your behavior on different sites. Firefox is the only browser that stands in the face of these networks. Of sites that they automatically block.
Chrome gives you many options for protection and hidden browsing, but automatic in all these options that allow Google to collect as much data as possible about you. For example you can prevent a site from tracking you on Chrome but it is not an automatic choice!
Google simply does not follow a policy with Chrome to help you pay attention to these details, everything that is automatic does not hurt you, let's frankly do not have the energy to look for better privacy options every day. What distinguishes Firefox is that it somehow becomes a leader in this area, with Firefox Focus for Android and iOS, you have no choice but to pay attention to your data. In this version there is a delete history button on each page you open, and once you exit the browser all history is automatically deleted.
You can go back and check back in to the same site. You will see that your browser has not saved your presence in it, which is the first time you surf for you.
You can also see how many websites you've blocked from you each time you access a new web page!
On The other hand side you must look at is speed and RAM consumption, and it things that become more or less controversial, and the world is divided into two halves. The first one says that Chrome swallows Ram with supernatural speed and makes the computer run slower, and the second says no ... Chrome is much better than Firefox.
Make it clear, it's different from one operating system to another. For example, on a Windows 10 computer, you can try opening the same tabs on Chrome and Firefox and monitoring performance. You'll see that Chrome consumes more memory than Firefox, but it might be different on a Mac. Most opinions now say that Firefox is the one who will win the debate here. But there is no way to measure accurately! However from my experience for both Sanhaz buffers to Firefox certainly.
Many may argue that we are used to Chrome, and there is no room for migration from one browser to another. No one likes to bother transferring all accounts and passwords! But do not worry if you really think about migrating, Firefox will welcome you warmly and will be happy to import all your data from Chrome without any trouble.
In the end, what matters is privacy. Even if I were a Chrome browser loyal user, I would have a big problem with what happens without my attention. Every time I enter a web page, I've given Google enough information to stick to Gmail, Both the PC and the mobile phone with the Focus version because there is no advantage no matter how much data control will compete! And until Google solved this scrapping I would say goodbye to Chrome and announced my migration to Firefox.
I will be featuring it in my weekly #technology and #science curation post for the @minnowsupport project and the Tech Bloggers' Guild! The Tech Bloggers' Guild is a new group of Steem bloggers and content creators looking to improve the overall quality of our niche.
Wish not to be featured in the curation post this Friday? Please let me know. In the meantime, keep up the hard work, and I hope to see you at the Tech Bloggers' Guild!

I really appreciate your support , thanks.
I care about my privacy, and after reading your blog post, here, I will be changing from Chrome to Firefox, or at least checking it out.
I also experience better performance than chrome, and I'm running it on Linux.
I am taking a look on the Brave browser, you can get BAT by displaying brave ads and it's built on Firefox I believe.
I will give it a tray; thanks.
