Today i stumbled on a post about SCAM SITES and decided to share it with you.
There are tons of ways to make money online which are worthwhile in the long run, while there are also acclaimed ways to make money online that can end up being mere routes to losing your money. Occasionally I try out new ways to earn money online; some days bring good results, others do not. Today, I will be sharing with you my experience with High Yield Investment Programs, commonly known as its acronym, HYIP.
What Is High Yield Investment Program?
Before I begin, I’d want you to know what high yield investment programs are if you’ve never really bothered about knowing its true meaning;
High yield investment program is a type of Ponzi scheme, an investment scam that promises unsustainably high return on investment by paying previous investors with the money invested by new investors.
High yield investment programs or HYIP as you know it is another form of Ponzi scheme. Only this time, you do not have to refer people who you expect to pay you. Hyip programs are like the fore fathers of the modern day ponzi schemes. You register like you would on any other site then provide a payment processor which you’ll use to deposit and withdraw funds.
How High Yield Investment Programs Operate?
HYIPs operate as though they are legitimate despite being 100% illegal. They promise you extremely mouth watering Returns for investment made in few hours, days, weeks or months. In fact, people who create these websites often do so with caution. They are smart, they hide their identities so well that it will so difficult to find them or take legal actions against them.

From the above image you can see the gigantic promised return for a day investment. 103% to 125% return on investment for a day. Mouth watering huh? Do not fall!
Just so you know, HYIPs claim to channel money invested by investors into businesses, but this is just a blatant lie. I believe investors know the lies they assume to tell are shady. There is no business, product or service to channel the received funds to. The funds simply sit in their account, probably programmed to get locked up once the desired amount is achieved.
Do High Yield Investment Programs Pay?
Well, to be fair, yes, most high yield investment programs pay but only for a very short time. Some do not pay at all… Before you write me off, I should let you know that these programs only pay to urge investors to refer more people who might end up being the very unlucky ones.
My Experience With High Yield Investment Programs

I bet nobody is perfect. But then knowing fully well that HYIP wasn’t the way to go, I’d call myself out for being greedy for a moment… I always knew high yield investment programs weren’t the way to go in my journey to making money online. I did know the risks it entailed, but I decided to take it because I needed some quick cash and indulging in HYIP was one of the quickest way to make money online to me. Forgive my self imposed gullibility.
I knew what I was getting myself into, so I did not invest so much. I assumed I wanted to try a few sites before letting all I had loose… But I guess I was lucky enough to lose just $20. Small as it may look, people have lost more than $500 to High yield investment programs and people are still losing their funds due to greed. To be sincere I did learn my lesson, now I’m more keen in unearthing more legitimate ways to make money online…
Most Websites often attempt to teach people on how to invest in HYIP and get returns, but I’d tell you the truth. This is 2018, please write off any idea, thought or reason to delve into high yield investment programs. You will wish you never knew about HYIP in the long run if you let the greed and promised returns fool you.
To be honest, making money online is not as easy as it looks when written or spelt out… Is even more difficult than I thought, especially when you are new to the world of trying to make money… I wouldn’t want to discourage you because I do know that there are legitimate ways to make money online since o too have made a few bucks for being online…
