Just remember that Facebook's ultimate goal is complete dominance. People will get the chips imbedded in them and then Facebook will be able to make them think advertisements. You know how it is, you're walking down the road and all of the sudden you get a song stuck in your head? Well, now you'll be walking down the road and thinking, "I really need a Coke product."
The realm of mind-computer interfacing is pretty fascinating, though. I wonder if it will ever get to the point where you don't really need a screen or interface. We have been able to project an image into a human brain for over a decade already, although that first one was pretty rudimentary. There was a guy who lost his sight and volunteered for an experiment. They grafted wires into his eye somehow (optical nerve, probably) and used a camera to stimulate the attached nerves. He said it was like looking at an 8x8 pixel image, but he could see.
Amazing stuff sir fotosdenada! Yeah I know about facebook, I was tempted to get into the evils of fb but didn't want a long post. lol. In just ten years we won't believe what will be possible I'm sure with the exponentially exploding technology.
Won't we have to have technology ourselves that blocks things from being projected into our minds?
