Microsoft is adding OpenSSH natively to Windows 10. Finally we can say goodbye to PuTTY!
Lately it seems like Microsoft is trying to get back developers to their OS. Last year they added bash shell natively to Windows 10 and now its time for OpenSSH to be included in the OS. This means that third party software like PuTTY will become obsolete.
Apparently its already been made available as a beta option in the Fall Creators Update For Windows 10
The update should roll out automatically or you can download it directly from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/features
