(personal opinion)
Recently, in August 2016, Google Fuchsia mysteriously popped out of nowhere on GitHub, just like any other project without much of hullabaloo on it.
Since then, there are only rumors spreading and gossips held on this secret project of Google.
Google is not Linux based, like Android or Chrome OS, but made of Google’s Zircon(a new microkernel).
Google Fuchsia can be run on desktop, phone, tablet computers, thus, it has the potential to replace Android or Chrome OS in near future.
For now, Fuchsia is available in Pixelbook(Google’s notebook) for experimental purposes.
Since, it’s initial stages, Android is facing lot of issues to be stable, with new releases every time. Who knows, Google is thinking of a more win-win product for all.
Apart from that, Fuchsia is also supports Dart (a scripting language made by Google, which further powers Google products like Google AdWords) and Flutter(Google’s newly build cross-platform for mobile apps in Dart).
Interestingly, all are related to each other. And we can sense a greater plan which Google has thought of
Well, whatever Google makes is always a surprise for all!
Let’s just look forward to their official announcement...
