Hello Steemians, tomorrow Google will be doing a keynote at the Game Developers Conference, yeah, you read that right, Google is gonna launch something "Gaming" related.
The rumor has it that Google is launching a Streaming platform for gamers, but what does that mean? After reading some big gaming news sites even them don't know for sure, what is certain is that they're launching something and it might be BIG.
(What we know) Google streaming platform is not a secret, last fall, they beta test the service with Assassins Creed: Odyssey, the big issue with this service is the requirement of a high-speed internet connection to be able to play, so then, what's the big deal about this announcement? Well, the possibilities are HUGE, being able to play high-end games on any device no matter if you have a PC, Mac, Laptop, tablet, or even smartphones is just amazing.
Some more crazy rumors say that you'll be able to play high-end games on your Tv or Chromecast with a regular Xbox controller or Google's own controller. Other rumors suggest that you'll be able to join streamers and continue playing on the same level as them (this will depend on the developer to allow such a feature).
Youtube integration, sharing content, what games companies are working with Google, what are the requirements to play, and a lot of more questions are rushing to my head right now.
I guess we will have to wait to know if all of this is true or not, I'll be blogging all about it tomorrow at 10am PT.
Pss psss: That awesome illustration on top was found on tnw site.
that's good 👍
Nic....
Heard about this earlier today from a Linux Youtuber, Linux users like myself always have mixed feelings about anything Google does.
I was surprised to find how many services like this are already out there.
Google has the tech to make this really work, or create something amazing and just throw it away like they did with Google+.
Nvidia apparently is also launching their own service, and they could definitely give Google some real competition. Should be interesting.
que genial de verdad veremos
para ver que sera
