The first impression of every newbie coming into the programming world before joining is "oh dear this shit is gonn'be very hard, like impenetrable". Well, who says it isn't? Okay, then at first when you just start coding, you'd be like "oh, never thought it's this easy. Why the heck do programmers make it seems too difficult to understand! Like they're chasing newbies?"

To me, your approach, learning ability and amount of commitment given to this shit determines how programming responds to you - hard or easy.

Okay, here in my school (at the University of Lagos - Nigeria), the trending style of learning is the lecturers show you how to prepare a white rice, and in exams? Don't even go there. They'd be asking you to write on how to make coconut rice, fried rice, jollof rice. Imagine that! But here is it. you're expected to struggle for your own success in what you want. You weren't being forced to choose a particular career, were you? You're expected to go outta the book and curriculum in order to make a good programmer. it's not about the title, it's about being a programmer, really.

Walking on water and developing software from a specification are easy if both are frozen.

That's famous quote by Edward V Berard

When I first came into programming, I first learned HTML & CSS. Not even the Script. I had to start with what i thought my brain could take and then develop my interest and love for coding. This is the point of this article. There's this saying I'm famously known with:

If you wanna learn it right, learn it gradually

It was my first year in school and there were these seniors ready to dispense some stuffs into our idle brains. You know, then you weren't being intimidated by these hot boys and girls in campus yet. And so the interest developed gradually, turned to passion and then hobby. It turns to what you can't live a day without engaging in. Your approach defines how you see programming.

Sorry buddies, my pen is drying already for now. Catch ya later. Tomorrow.
