Bitcoin and Ethereum's rising virtual curricula (cryptocurrency) currency fever jumped demand for graphics card components for computers.

Processing chip (GPU) in the graphics card is more reliable and efficient than the CPU for mine "mining" aka mining the virtual currency.

The graphics card manufacturer was splashed profits because the product is faster on the market, in addition to be sold at higher prices due to high demand.

It is recognized by AMD as one of the graphics card manufacturer with Radeon chip. "We are seeing a high demand for cryptocurrency," said AMD CEO Lisa Su at the company's financial statement announcement conference last week.

The miners Bitcoin and Etherium contribute to the increase in business profits AMD graphics card, which recorded 51 percent growth compared to last year.

Even so, Su said it was skeptical cryptocurrency fever would be sustainable. Therefore he prioritizes the supply of products to traditional partners such as PC game retailers.

"We do not see it (cryptocurrency) as a driver of long-term growth, but we will continue to monitor its progress," Lisa Su continued.

This week, AMD has just introduced Radeon RX Vega series of graphics cards. Products priced at 699 dollars including the liquid-cooling cooler that marks the return of AMD to the realm of high-end graphics cards.

I think cryptocurrencies has accelerated the development of newer and fasters GPUs. The competition between AMD and Intel has heated up quite a bit. Interesting to see who would come on top this year.

That's right...
